Hello You

May 2020

Can you hear it? Can you hear the Father telling you how very special you are? How loved? How vital? How essential and important and necessary your existence is to this world, especially at this time in history? Can you hear the truth of how perfectly formed and fashioned you are – specifically called forth and created by God. I wonder sometimes if women can hear the accurate intent of the truth of the Word and the words of the Father who created us in His image and likeness.

A Creator who made us all together with the protecting power of a lioness and a sweet nurturing nature. Made us like a warrior fighting for our family and a master at producing peace in the unlikeliest of times. Made us able to communicate in multiplication, sense things at a deep level, and stand in confident intuition about the situations we face. We are women, made in His image and likeness, and we are amazing!

I hope you hear it. I hope you hear the echo of God’s truth cutting through the chaos, the daily schedule, and the hectic busyness of balancing all of the roles and expectations women experience. I hope it cuts through the non-stop chores of home life, the responsibilities of work, and labors of love for family.

I hope you can hear it, because I sometimes wonder if the message has been contorted, somehow twisted around by life’s schedules, responsibilities and even, opportunities. And by culture. And by self-image. Or the narrative that plays in your own mind about yourself, others, and the world around you.

I hope you know that you are loved and validated and that you are enough. Because you are! You are more than enough to do and be and accomplish what you were created to do and be and accomplish. God said so. I hope you know this. I hope you believe this. I hope God’s truth prevails in your identity.

There is no one who can be exactly who you were made to be.

There is no one – not in history past, nor any time in the future – who is exactly like you. You have been intricately and specifically and thoughtfully created by the hand and heart and will of the Master Creator. There is no one who can replace you. There is no one who can be you better than you.

There is no one who can add her voice to the sphere of influence and space of dominion God has given you to create and lead and influence your world the way you can. There is no one who can be exactly who you were made to be. There just is, simply, no one like you.

Your strength of purpose and calling each day is hinged on your determination...

Psalm 139:13 says “I will offer you my grateful heart, for I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.” (The Voice)

The war is always in our soul – our mind, will and emotions. May you determine to be a constant carrier of His truth in your soul – no matter what other forces try to wipe it out.

Your strength of purpose and calling each day is hinged on your determination to take God at his word about you, and resolve to not let it be overridden or redefined by anyone for any reason.

When other words fail to validate – may His Word stand you up inside of your identity the way he intended.

When other words fall short – may His song over you pull your heartbeat into the rhythm of His ways.

When other eyes cannot see – may His see into your memories and redefine your worth according to His Word.

When no one else says it out loud – may you raise your voice to declare His truth over yourself every day.

Only let your voice say what God says about you.

And so, it is vital. It is needful. It is necessary for YOU to understand how vital and needed and necessary YOU are. It is essential that YOU determine that no other voice gets to override God’s voice when it comes to your worth, importance, and essence. No past voice. No future voice. No inner voice. No outside voice. Only let your voice say what God says about you. And say it. Out loud. Daily.

You know what you are good at. Do it! You know what you can accomplish if you put your mind to it. Get accomplishing! You know what dreams are yet to be realized. Get moving! Do what you were created to do knowing you are already called, accepted and approved. Your existence and purpose were already stated and validated by God before any other voice could even speak.

There will be struggles. There will be obstacles. There will be challenges. But may the question of your worth and value in God never be one of them. Ever. Again.
