After 5 years of pastoring our Wayne Campus, Pastor Mel and Eiffey Bedi have fulfilled their assignment and will be relocating to Canada this summer. Under their leadership, Wayne Campus has experienced growth and is in a strong position financially and spiritually.
Through much prayer and discussion as a leadership team, it became clear that Blake Elder is the right fit to transition into this Campus Pastor role. Effective June 1, he and his wife, Regan, will transition to our Wayne Campus after serving the last two years at our Eastwood Campus.
With this shift, we will combine our Eastwood and Downtown locations under the leadership of our current Downtown Campus Pastor, Scott Estep. The Eastwood will remain as a local theater to bring family friendly entertainment to those on the Eastside of the river.
Through all of these changes, it is important to remember the things that remain. We are still one church that meets in multiple locations. We still have the same heart, the same culture, the same passion, and the same vision to go after those who don’t know Jesus, to see those who are bound be set free, to see those who are dead come to life… and we’re thrilled to partner with you in crafting a community on fire for Jesus.
